About Me
Becoming a therapist has been my dream for as long as I can remember. When I was 12, I started a club with my friends where we would gather and talk about our problems—it was my first experience with creating a safe space for others to be heard. My passion for behavioral health continued throughout my career in the United States Army, where I took on various roles related to mental health and advocacy. Traveling to different countries and immersing myself in different cultures has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my service.
My Approach
I specialize in:
-
Trauma recovery
-
Chronic health challenges
-
Grief and loss
-
Veterans’ and caregivers’ issues
-
Victim advocacy
-
Domestic and child abuse
-
Life transitions

In my practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR. These approaches help identify unhelpful coping mechanisms and replace them with actions that promote self-agency and well-being.
